Icaros, Magical Songs from Peru
The radio feature for Into The Music, produced by Liz Thompson and myself has been completed and will air on August 22nd.
Post airing it will be accompanied on the Into The Music website by a number of online features which will deepen the understanding of those of you not fortunate to have experienced first hand the nature of Amazonian curanderismo.
The podcast series previously mentioned remains a desired addition to The Quantum Life Bodyworks' output, but priorities have led me down other paths at this time.

July 2009 From Flooding Rain to Red Desert
With 4 floods in as many months my home town has settled into a damp and cold Winter, so the contrast of my current environment could scarcely be broader.
I have travelled to the currently hot and dry Kimberly region of Western Australia to assist, in a very marginal way, the work of a remarkable man John Watson
Having spent a week in country, sharing story, language and culture, I am called to communicate my depth of appreciation for the work John and those who support him do. The walk in country I participated in was a program developed and run by the Yiriman Project.
In an atmosphere of cyclic dysfunction which leads to all manner of social problems, I cannot begin to explain the importance of the work of strong leaders such as John and Harry Watson and the many others of their family who expand their work, and of the organisational structures such as Yiriman.
I cannot myself have any depth of understanding of the complexities of the issues here, having such a short time to learn, but as feeling and mapping energetic processes is my trade, I can certainly convey my feeling that this is work most worthy of support.
We are all individuals with wide and varied tools and skills, and only those here on the ground know the kinds of support needed. If you feel able to offer services or finincial assistance to this important work, please contact the Yiriman coordinator via their website.
I am making this communication as the culture here, the oldest living culture in the world, has an understanding and articulation of the great complexity of relationships between humans and non humans alike.
It is impossible for me to live in this land and to not address the need for healing in a context that may not touch me daily, but must surely impact upon me given the spaces from which I seek to heal.
I thank you for taking the time to read these clumsy words.
